Evaluation Comments:
Did the students talk about the performances after and if so what were their comments?
Yes, we have speakers at the I.M.P.A.C.T. program at least once a month, while students are usually cooperative because they like the change of pace they rarely engage with the actual speaker or topic. Mr. Flanagan has a way of bringing the youth into the topic through his stories that no other speaker I have witnessed with this program has accomplished. Mr. Flanagan has come several times to speak to different groups of youth I have had and each time he does a wonderful time and I find the youth talk about the presentation for quite a while after it’s over. I asked one of my youth after the most recent presentation what he thought of Mr. Flanagan’s presentation and he replied, “It was interesting, kept my attention and really made me think.”
Were you satisfied?
Absolutely, every time Mr. Flanagan comes to present to my kids I am astounded at how well he gets them to connect and participate, not only do the kids enjoy his tales but I do as well.
Can I use your school as a reference?
Absolutely any time!!!
